Geoff is a partner in the Corporate & Commercial
Team. He has extensive experience in advising New Zealand and
offshore clients in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and joint
ventures with an emphasis on negotiating and advising on complex
transactions. Geoff regularly acts as New Zealand counsel on
trans-tasman matters, and advises on all aspects of the
Companies Act and commercial legislation.
Geoff also has a significant information technology practice and
regularly advises both providers and purchasers on all aspects
of technology law ranging from systems integration agreements to
the outsourcing of computer services.
Geoff combines his commercial experience with a deep
understanding of his clients' business drivers to add
considerable value to commercial outcomes. Clients regard him as
a proven negotiator who demonstrates genuine foresight and an
excellent relationship manager.
