Robert is a partner in our Commercial Property team
and has 14 years corporate, commercial and property experience,
acting for a wide variety of corporates, businesses, property
owners, not-for-profit organisations and individuals.
Robert uses his extensive knowledge and experience to assist
clients in all aspects of their business, from complex business
and property transactions and advice to more common everyday
business issues. Robert has led negotiations and mediations to
resolve difficult issues in a timely, cost effective manner, and
has been called upon as a trusted advisor by other firms when
conflicts of interest arise. He is experienced in complex
business and property issues, including the establishment of new
ventures, ownership structures, documentation, management of
disputes, as well as dissolution of joint ventures.
He has specialist expertise in the sale, purchase and operation
of building management rights. Robert also has specialist
expertise in franchising, having advised many franchisors and
franchisees. Robert acts for a number of overseas originated
franchises that have New Zealand operations either company owned
or through master franchise agreements.
Robert achieved a double degree of Law and Arts from the
University of Canterbury and is a Member of the Franchise
Association. |
