Kate Telford is a senior associate in our Corporate and Commercial team. Kate was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in 1998 and the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2004.

Kate's principal areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate and commercial law. Kate has extensive experience in advising both purchasers and vendors in relation to business asset and share sales.

Some of the projects Kate has recently been involved in are:

acting for ANZ Capital in relation to its investment in Tegel Foods;
advising ANZ Capital on an investment in the aged care sector;
advising on the listing of A$250 million capital notes on the NZDX; and
acting for a vendor in respect of the sale of an animal health and
sciences business.

Prior to joining Hesketh Henry, Kate practised in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
