Alison was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2001, and since that time, she has practised in the areas of employment law, and occupational health and safety.
She has extensive experience in disciplinary and termination procedures, compliance issues, drafting employment agreements and policies, and collective negotiations. Prior to her current role, Alison worked at a local government authority as Employee Relations Manager, and before that, was employed by a large Auckland law firm for five years.
She has appeared in the Employment Court, and has been involved in a number of Employment Relations Authority proceedings. She regularly represents clients at mediation. Alison aims to deliver quality employment law advice and pragmatic solutions that work for clients. |
