Joanne Chilvers rejoins the Hesketh Henry
Commercial Property team after three years in London where a
greater part of her time was spent working for a large
international law firm on a range of transactions including
property finance, leasing and commercial property sales and
acquisitions.
Joanne’s experience spans over 7 years in
property-related law and includes time at a commercial firm in New
Zealand and at Hesketh Henry during 2004 through to 2007.
She uses this valuable experience to manage relationships with
clients that have previously included property investors,
developers, major lenders, a government-owned subsidiary, a global
defence and aerospace company and retirement villages.
She
has acted for clients on acquisitions, disposals, leasing,
licences, commercial property financing, and general estate
management. Her recent experience includes working with secured
lenders and insolvency practitioners on investigations into and
disposal of insolvent businesses.
Joanne achieved a
conjoint degree in Law and Science from the University of Auckland
and was admitted to the bar in 2001.
