Nicola was admitted to the bar in 1997. She joined Hesketh Henry in 2006 following a stint of full time parenting her three children. Prior to that she worked for over five years in two large Auckland firms.
Her principal areas of practice are civil and commercial litigation, including insurance litigation, conducting and defending professional negligence claims, and estate litigation. She works with both individuals and corporate entities to achieve commercially pragmatic solutions to disputes.
Nicola appears regularly in the High Court and is a member of the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
