Christina specialises in civil and commercial
litigation, with a strong background in professional indemnity and
insurance claims.
Christina's practice includes a variety of
complex, high-value commercial claims, construction and commercial
property disputes and professional indemnity litigation. She has
recently acted in a multi-million dollar, complex litigation
leading a large team of lawyers and support staff. She also has an
interest in medico-legal litigation and health related issues and
practised for a number of years in London with a leading UK
specialist firm, acting for public hospitals and their insurer.
Christina provides quality legal advice, assisting clients to
resolve disputes in a timely and effective manner, whether by
negotiation, litigation or alternative dispute resolution.
Christina was admitted to the New Zealand bar in 1995 and qualified
as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2000. She is a member of the
Northern Y Regional Ethics Committee, which reviews health research
proposals in the upper half of the North Island, she is also a
member of the Society of Construction Law New Zealand Inc, the New
Zealand Insurance Law Association and the Auckland Medico-Legal
Society.
