Mathew joined Hesketh Henry in March 2010 and is a
Senior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial team.
Mathew has experience advising on a broad range of corporate and
commercial and banking and finance transactions, with a particular
focus on mergers and
acquisitions, venture capital, joint
ventures, project and acquisition finance and capital raisings.
Mathew’s experience has involved the drafting and negotiation
of a wide range of commercial contracts including joint venture
agreements, subscription agreements, shareholders’ agreements,
share and asset sale and purchase agreements and financing
agreements.
Prior to joining Hesketh Henry, Mathew spent
three years in London working for one of the world’s largest
offshore law firms. As well as being admitted as a
Barrister and
Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, Mathew is also admitted
as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and a
Solicitor of the
Supreme Court of the Eastern Caribbean.
