Inaugural Alumni Event
As part of our 150 year celebrations, we held an inaugural alumni gathering in our premises on Thursday 29th October.  This was a relaxed affair with a good number of past and present HH staff in attendance. The evening was a great success with many connections rekindled and many stories swapped.

Our managing partner, Erich Bachmann, thanked all attendees for supporting the event and indicated that we would not have to wait a further 150 years for another gathering!  He reminded everyone that when the firm started in 1865 the population of Auckland was only 12,000.

If you are a former HH employee or partner and would like to be included in our Alumni network, please email your details to lawyers@heskethhenry.co.nz .

Record fund-raising for Womens Refuge
Hesketh Henry was again pleased to be a Gold sponsor of NZ Sculpture OnShore, one of New Zealand's premier outdoor sculpture events.

The tenth biennial exhibition took place in November 2014, once again at the magnificent cliff-top Fort Takapuna Reserve in Devonport and a record number of visitors appreciated the works this year.

This event is organised and run by The Friends of Women’s Refuge Trust and was established to raise money for Women’s Refuge New Zealand, while showcasing work from some of New Zealand’s finest artists.

Hesketh Henry was proud to host an event in April 2015 where the cheque for $180,000, a record figure, was presented to Women’s Refuge New Zealand.

The firm  would like to acknowledge the other generous sponsors and supporters of this iconic event, the inspirational artists who invest significant time and effort, and all the dedicated and passionate volunteers who give tirelessly and enthusiastically to make NZ Sculpture OnShore a magnificent event for all Aucklanders.
