Hesketh Henry placed second in the Property Council sailing regatta on 15 March 2018 – narrowly beaten by Dominion Constructors after leading for much of the race.
This was the first time in ten years that the Property Council has run the event. The racing took place in the vicinity of the Auckland Harbour bridge in a gentle south westerly breeze and warm sunny conditions, with over 20 boats competing.
Hesketh Henry competed on construction/litigation partner Nick Gillies’ Young 88 – one of the smallest boats in the fleet. Nick was joined by Kate Telford (Partner, corporate/commercial), Barret Baylock (Senior Associate, commercial property), as well as clients and friends of the firm with an interest in property.
The firm’s entry reflects its long-term membership of the Property Council, and brought together our commitment to providing specialist legal services to the property, construction and marine industries.
We hope to go one better in a year’s time!
