Hesketh Henry is pleased to announce that Simon Gray has joined the partnership as head of our banking and finance practice.
Simon specialises in project finance and complex banking transactions, with particular expertise in major infrastructure, energy and development projects, and cross-border financing. He advises lenders, sponsors, and corporates on structuring, negotiating, and delivering bankable finance arrangements where risk allocation and certainty are critical.
He joins Hesketh Henry with more than 20 years’ experience gained in leading international and New Zealand firms, including senior roles at Baker & McKenzie in Singapore, Herbert Smith in London, and most recently at MinterEllisonRuddWatts in Auckland.
Simon’s arrival deepens the firm’s capability in banking and project finance and strengthens the services we provide across construction and infrastructure, commercial property, corporate & commercial, Māori business,and trade & transport. His appointment reflects Hesketh Henry’s commitment to delivering integrated, market-leading solutions for clients in these sectors and areas.
