Hesketh Henry is pleased to announce the promotion of James Lewis to Partner.
James is a specialist construction lawyer with experience across both contentious and non‑contentious matters. Since joining Hesketh Henry in 2021, he has become a key member of the firm’s Construction and Infrastructure team, advising on projects and disputes in New Zealand and the Pacific.
Prior to joining the firm, James spent nearly a decade with leading international law firms in Hong Kong, working on major projects across China and the Asia‑Pacific region. He brings particular strength in both complex and high value transactional work and complex disputes for commercial and infrastructure projects. He is admitted to practise in New Zealand, Hong Kong and New York.
James’ promotion reflects both his capability and the continued growth of Hesketh Henry’s construction and infrastructure offering.
