To reflect its’ growing profile in Korea, Hesketh Henry hosted three Korean Bar Association (KBA) members, solicitors Munhak Pahk, Jung Hwa Ryu and Taeri Kang, for two weeks in February. The programme offered a short practical training/experience for the participants. The 2 week schedule was very busy with a number of speakers from within the New Zealand legal fraternity providing talks on a variety of New Zealand law topics, along with a trip to the Auckland High Court and a visit to the New Zealand Law Society.
The highlight of the visit was a cocktail reception held at Hesketh Henry offices, Hesketh Henry’s Richard Chen performed a piece from Wieniawski, Faust Fantasy, on the violin and Taeri Kang replied with a few different styles of music played on the traditional Korean Kayagum.
