Gennise Luen is Special Counsel in our Litigation team, bringing extensive experience across a broad spectrum of civil and commercial disputes. Her practice spans high-value commercial claims, property disputes, insurance litigation, and complex estate and trust matters.
Gennise regularly appears before the High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as the Family Court, tribunals, and in alternative dispute resolution forums. She enjoys the variety and challenge that civil litigation presents and is known for her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to navigate technical legal issues with clarity and confidence.
She frequently acts in substantial and complex civil proceedings and has particular expertise in lawyers’ professional indemnity claims, acting on instructions from both New Zealand and international insurers.
