Mila is a solicitor in the Insurance Litigation team. She brings experience across insurance law and corporate advisory, with a foundation in a large Australasian insurance group. She joined Hesketh Henry’s litigation team in 2026 to pursue client advocacy in private practice.
Mila has assisted on a range of complex matters, from large professional indemnity disputes and subrogated recoveries through to property litigation.
Mila welcomes opportunities to share her knowledge on significant market, legal and regulatory updates. Most recently, she presented at the ANZIIF Liability Conference 2026 on the implications for insurers under the Contracts of Insurance Act 2024 and the proposed shift towards proportionate liability under the Building Amendment Bill.
Mila was also recently announced as a recipient of the 2026 New Zealand Insurance Law Association Conference Scholarship Award.
