Emma is a partner in the Private Wealth Team. She specialises in private wealth, real estate, and overseas investment, advising clients on their property rights and obligations across a wide range of personal and commercial contexts. Emma’s expertise includes trust structuring and governance, relationship property matters, succession planning, and family lending arrangements. She regularly works with clients holding diverse assets, from forestry and coastal farmland to residential developments, many of which are managed through trusts.

Emma also has deep experience navigating the Overseas Investment Act, guiding both vendors and purchasers through complex regulatory processes and working closely with overseas investors in a constantly evolving landscape. Her approach is empathetic and practical, with a strong focus on understanding family dynamics and helping clients plan for the future with confidence. Emma is a regular speaker on trust law and a member of The Law Association’s Trust Law Committee.
