Congratulations to our exceptional Private Wealth team, who have again secured well-deserved recognition in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide for 2024. This international Guide includes those leading teams and individuals who understand the complex needs of high net worth individuals and provide specialist advice, and our high rankings are testament to our commitment to excellence in the private wealth sector.
Our Private Wealth team has been ranked Band 2 and is described as having “great breadth and depth of legal expertise”, with a “comprehensive understanding of trust law and an ability to apply that knowledge in a practical and pragmatic manner.”
Each of our partners has also merited a continued individual ranking. Mary Joy Simpson has again received recognition as a Band 1 lawyer and is described as “one of the best trust lawyers in New Zealand.” John Kirkwood and Emma Tonkin have both been acknowledged in Band 2.
