On 1 May, Hesketh Henry was delighted to attend the German New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2025/26. As proud sponsor of the “Our Employees – Our Success” Award, we were honoured to support the recognition of exceptional HR and training initiatives across New Zealand–German businesses.
Our partner, Alison Maelzer, presented the award to this year’s outstanding recipients: Tax Traders and Taxi Ltd.
In a light-hearted twist, Erich Bachman stepped in to represent the German Ambassador, who was unable to attend due to weather disruptions in Wellington.
Team members Julka Wahlmann-Smith, Jodi Sharman, and Jim Roberts joined the celebration and were inspired by the calibre of the finalists and the strength of bilateral collaboration.
We extend our sincere thanks to the German New Zealand Chamber of Commerce for organising a memorable evening and for their continued efforts in fostering strong business ties between our two nations.
