Hesketh Henry is delighted to have assisted Compagnie Française D’assurance Pour Le Commerce Extérieur (Coface) with being granted a licence to carry on insurance business in New Zealand. Our team, led by Senior Associate, Sarah Gibbs and supported by Solicitor, Christine Leung with critical oversight from Partner, Erich Bachmann and Consultant, Brett Morley, worked closely with Coface and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand during the application process. Hesketh Henry also advised Coface in relation to the structuring and establishment of its business in New Zealand together with associated advice on financial services compliance aspects.
We take this opportunity to congratulate Coface and look forward to continuing to assist our client with the establishment and expansion of its business in the New Zealand market.
This work continues Hesketh Henry’s leading role in the insurance sector.
