Hesketh Henry assists Coface to obtain NZ insurance licence

Hesketh Henry is delighted to have assisted Compagnie Française D’assurance Pour Le Commerce Extérieur (Coface) with being granted a licence to carry on insurance business in New Zealand.  Our team, led by Senior Associate, Sarah Gibbs and supported by Solicitor, Christine Leung with critical oversight from Partner, Erich Bachmann and  Consultant, Brett Morley, worked closely with Coface and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand during the application process.  Hesketh Henry also advised Coface in relation to the structuring and establishment of its business in New Zealand together with associated advice on financial services compliance aspects.
