Overview
M & A lawyers to support seamless domestic, trans-Tasman and international deals

When you work with Hesketh Henry to put merger and acquisition plans into action, you can count on big firm expertise without the big firm price tag.

Our highly experienced M & A lawyer team includes three partners and a senior associate who have been recommended in the Legal 500 and Asialaw legal directories. We have acted on a wide range of trans-Tasman and international transactions and several of our key people have worked in the UK, Australia and Europe. We are accessible, nimble and smart.

We advise corporates, small and medium sized enterprises, private equity funds, financiers and management on the regulations and procedures for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buy outs, management buy outs and venture capital investments.

Our M & A services include pre-sale and pre-purchase due diligence, restructuring advice, drafting and negotiating business and share and purchase agreements, advising on shareholder agreements and financing on-shore arrangements, obtaining regulatory approvals including from the Overseas Investment Office, clearances and all other associated matters.

If your company is based outside of New Zealand and you are looking to invest here, please also see our Foreign Investment page for more information.
